About Kim Louise Zandvoort
Based in Sweden, Netherlands born
Kim Louise is a professional artist, interior designer and choreographer.
"My passion is to see beauty in all things surrounding us, not only in nature but also in performing arts and architecture.
For example one of my favorite buildings is the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, designed by the masterful Frank Gehry. It feels like a symphony sweeping over you from which ever angle you watch it. But I could as easily be inspired by a broken vase and a mossy branch.
And then of course there is music. Every day.
It can calm you down, help you process, lift your spirits and make you dance.
For me, all art forms have something essential in common. When you allow it, it can touch your core.
Following an initial thought, a shape, an object to create a zone of harmony, balance and allure is deeply satisfying. Being able to process emotions by creating art to share is truly a privilege.
Once an artist has released an art piece, it's for everybody to interpret or just enjoy. Not pretentious and pompous, but precious, pleasing and interesting. I love the idea of art having a universal language, crossing barriers and connecting rather than dividing us. Like water always finds a way to move onward. No human drawn borders will stop its flow.
Infuse art that speaks to you into your personal zone and let it inspire you to enhance your surroundings and connect to what you already love"
ZONE ATELIER
embraces the philosophy of wabi sabi,
a Japanese aesthetic concept
that finds beauty and serenity
in objects, landscapes, designs
that are simple, imperfect, and impermanent.
Just like us.
